Hunter started wrestling at the age of 6 and by 8 years old he stepped up to higher level. During the season he trains 4 nights a week at Advance School of Wrestling (Madison, Wisconsin) and Ringer's Elite Wrestling (Elkhorn, WI). Off season he trains at Askren Bro. Wrestling (Hartland, WI) and attends several wrestling camps throughout the summer. He enjoys folkstyle, but has become very fond of both freestyle and greco wrestling. His goal is to compete in the 2020 Olympics and one day open his own elite wrestling training school.
